Wellington

Established streets north of downtown with 1990s and 2000s built-ins now reaching the age where defrost and sealed-system parts start to fail.

Wellington sits inside the daily Woodinville route, and we are on the road 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days. We work on built-in and integrated Sub-Zero equipment here — including panel-ready installations that have to come out of joinery and go back without a mark on it.

  • The drawer stopped closing flush and one edge of the gasket had iced up. A bent slide, from something wedged in behind it. New slide, new gasket, sealed.

  • Panel-ready column set in old fir joinery I could not replace if it were marked. He put protection down first, photographed every clip before pulling it, and it went back exactly as built. The fault was a control relay, not the compressor.

  • Water was pooling under the crisper every second day and I kept towelling it out. The drain behind the rear panel had iced over. He cleared it, changed a thermistor, and it has stayed dry.
